Hyperliquid Infrastructure
HyperEVM, HyperCore, and Market Data

Dwellir runs Hyperliquid nodes and turns every layer into an API. JSON-RPC, Info endpoint, order book WebSocket, gRPC streaming, archives, and peering.

How Hyperliquid Works

Hyperliquid nodes write raw protocol records to disk. Dwellir exposes the available raw feeds through gRPC, while the historical archive preserves native files for longer-term workflows. Click a file type to see a sample record.

Order books and other derived views are built from these feeds. See the data catalog for the 14 typed market streams and how they map to the Order Book WebSocket and the Hyperliquid Index.

HyperCore and HyperEVM

HyperCore

The trading layer

HyperCore runs the fully on-chain order books for perpetuals and spot markets. Every order, cancel, and fill is recorded inside a block, so the order book state can be rebuilt from node files alone. HyperBFT consensus finalizes blocks in under a second and the matching engine handles 200,000 orders per second.

200kOrders per second

The node writes seven record types: blocks with 47 documented action types, fills, order statuses, raw book diffs, miscellaneous events, TWAP statuses, and periodic state dumps. Perpetuals offer up to 40x leverage on BTC. HIP-3 adds builder-deployed perp DEXs with permissionless perpetual markets, and HIP-4 adds outcome markets. The same feeds cover both.

  • Info endpoint for metadata, positions, open orders, vaults, validators, and exchange state
  • Order Book WebSocket for live L2, L4, BBO, and trades from Singapore and Tokyo
  • gRPC streaming for raw node feeds with replay and 14 typed market streams
  • Hyperliquid Index for candles, historical fills, and HIP-4 outcome markets, with a historical order book coming soon
  • Archive with native node files in S3 back to 2025-01-12

HyperEVM

The smart contract layer

HyperEVM is an Ethereum-compatible execution environment that shares HyperBFT consensus with HyperCore. It runs on chain ID 999, pays gas in HYPE, and accepts standard Solidity contracts, wallets, and tooling such as ethers.js, viem, Hardhat, and Foundry.

999Chain ID
< 1sBlock time

Dwellir serves HyperEVM from dedicated nodes with the debug and trace namespaces enabled, so indexers and analytics can trace every call. Combine a strategy contract on HyperEVM with L1 streaming from HyperCore to react to fills and book changes in the same system.

  • Standard JSON-RPC for blocks, accounts, transactions, logs, and contract calls
  • debug and trace namespaces for indexers and analytics
  • Dedicated nodes with unlimited RPS in a Dedicated Cluster
  • Method reference with request and response examples for every method
