Hyperliquid OHLCV
Sparse Candles, Built from Node Fills

Query Hyperliquid perpetual market candles over REST, JSON-RPC, and WebSocket. Dwellir ships sparse 1s, 1m, and 5m candles derived directly from canonical node fill history, with intended historical coverage starting at 2025-07-27T08:00:00Z.

Hyperliquid Candles Through Developer-Friendly Endpoints

Use the same candle model over REST, JSON-RPC, and WebSocket depending on whether you need exact lookups, RPC envelopes, or live completed-candle delivery.

REST

Simple HTTP Candle Lookups

Request one specific candle by market, interval, and bucket-open time.

  • One candle per response
  • Exact UTC bucket-open lookup
  • Best fit for export scripts and backend jobs
GET /YOUR_API_KEY/v1/candles?...
REST API docs
JSON-RPC

RPC-Shaped Candle Access

Use ohlcv_getCandle when your clients or tooling already expect a JSON-RPC envelope.

  • Method: ohlcv_getCandle
  • Same single-candle contract as REST
  • Good fit for RPC-oriented internal tooling
{"method":"ohlcv_getCandle","params":{...}}

WebSocket

Completed Live Candles

Subscribe by market and interval to receive completed candles as they close.

  • Canonical endpoint: wss://api-hyperliquid-ohlcv.n.dwellir.com
  • Path auth works for browser-native clients
  • Same candle payload shape as the request-based APIs

What Dwellir Ships Today

The current OHLCV product is deliberately narrow: execution-faithful candles, export friendly request shapes, and live completed-candle streaming.

Sparse 1s, 1m, and 5m Candles

Only traded intervals are materialized. Empty buckets are omitted instead of being forward-filled.

Built Directly from Node Fills

Dwellir candles preserve executed highs, lows, and volume rather than relying on a more compressed public candlestick representation.

Historical + Live Coverage

Historical candles are derived from archive data starting at 2025-07-27T08:00:00Z, with live upkeep continuing from gRPC ingestion.

Export-Ready Workflows

Dwellir docs now include dedicated guides for exporting one market and one interval into CSV or Parquet with the Dwellir CLI-driven auth flow.

OHLCV Documentation

Start with the OHLCV product docs to understand the schema, sparse candle model, and the REST, JSON-RPC, and WebSocket transports.

  • Landing page for the overall product and schema
  • Method pages for REST, JSON-RPC, and WebSocket
  • Historical floor and sparse candle behavior documented explicitly

Export and Use the Data

Follow the step-by-step guides to generate CSV or Parquet files for a single market and candle resolution using your Dwellir API key.
