Access Astar RPC Nodes API

Astar Network is a smart contract platform that supports both EVM and WebAssembly environments, and interoperability between them using a Cross-Virtual Machine. It also has a system called 'Build2Earn', which allows developers to earn incentives for building and maintaining their decentralized applications, and users to earn incentives for supporting their favorite projects.

The Astar Network is designed to solve issues of scalability and interoperability. It uniquely utilizes the best features from both EVM and WebAssembly Virtual Machines, and any number of application-specific blockchains across the broader Polkadot ecosystem. It also allows developers to build smart contracts in innovative ways, fostering cooperation and integrations across multiple blockchains and application.

Running a full node on an Astar chain allows you to connect to the network, sync with a bootnode, obtain local access to RPC endpoints, author blocks on the parachain, and more. The requirements for running a full node are similar to those of an archive node, but a full node requires less disk space. When setting up a full node, you need to specify the number of blocks to be pruned.

There are several SDKs available for developers to interact with the Astar Network. These include the ink-xvm-sdk, astar.js and the new Banana SDK.
