Unique Network RPC Endpoints

Unique NFTs are native chain objects handled by runtime pallets, not by a contract each project deploys. The protocol enforces ownership, transfers, and properties, so minting costs less and cannot break from a contract bug. Tokens can also nest inside other tokens to form bundles and can be split into re-fungible shares owned by many accounts.

A collection owner can fund a sponsor account that pays transaction fees for that collection. End users then mint, transfer, and update tokens without holding UNQ. Rate limits per address and per token stop abuse, and the sponsor can be topped up or removed at any time.

Yes. Unique runs an EVM pallet with chain ID 8880. The same endpoint answers eth_call, eth_getLogs, and eth_sendRawTransaction, so MetaMask, Hardhat, and ethers.js connect directly. Solidity contracts can call the native collection and token pallets through precompiled interfaces.

Quartz is the canary network on Kusama with its own QTZ token, and Opal is the free testnet. All three run the same runtime code, so a dApp tested on Opal deploys to Quartz and Unique without changes. This endpoint serves Unique on Polkadot.

The shared endpoint covers marketplaces, wallets, and games with moderate traffic. Choose a dedicated cluster when you index every collection from genesis, run a game backend that reads token properties on every action, or need reserved capacity during a mint. Dedicated clusters run in the same Stockholm data centers as the shared fleet.
