What the price buys
Six things worth knowing before you switch an endpoint over
Unmetered requests
Requests through an Unlimited Node stop drawing on your plan’s monthly allowance. No credit counter, no month-end throttling, no compute-unit multipliers on trace or debug.
A ceiling, not a floor
The gateway enforces the RPS cap you bought. Beneath it you get whatever the cluster behind the endpoint can serve. We would rather say that plainly than sell a guarantee that belongs to dedicated hardware.
The cap binds both ways
An Unlimited Node runs at its own RPS ceiling, even when your plan limit is higher. Pick the rung that matches your real peak, not your optimistic one.
One node, one endpoint
An Unlimited Node covers one endpoint route, so you can make your hot path unmetered and leave everything else on the shared plan. Two hot paths means two Unlimited Nodes.
No overage risk at all
Nothing is charged at request time. Traffic above the ceiling is rate limited at the edge with a standard 429 rather than billed, so the worst case is a slow hour, never a surprise invoice.

Every quote carries its pricing version, currently 2026-08-13. A stale price is rejected rather than silently honoured.
Questions
What is an Unlimited Node?
An Unlimited Node is a single Dwellir endpoint with the meter switched off. Requests through it stop drawing on your plan’s monthly response allowance, and the endpoint is capped at the RPS ceiling you chose instead. You pay one fixed monthly price with no per-response billing and no overage line.
How is an Unlimited Node different from a shared node plan?
On a shared node plan every response draws down your allowance, and anything past it is billed per million at the end of the month. With an Unlimited Node the request count no longer matters — only the rate does. Traffic that would have produced a large overage invoice produces the same flat charge every month.
How is an Unlimited Node different from a dedicated cluster?
An Unlimited Node is served from Dwellir’s shared node pool, so it is a rate ceiling on shared capacity rather than hardware reserved for you. A dedicated cluster gives you isolated nodes, custom regions, a custom SLA, and throughput well past 1,000 RPS — at a correspondingly higher price. Unlimited Nodes sit between the two.
Is the RPS figure a guarantee?
It is a ceiling, not a floor. The gateway will not let you exceed the rate you bought, and beneath it you get whatever the cluster behind that endpoint can serve. If you need contractually guaranteed throughput, that is a dedicated cluster conversation.
What happens if I go over the RPS ceiling?
Requests above the ceiling are rate limited at the edge and return the standard 429 response. Nothing is charged at request time, so there is no way to run up a surprise bill — you either fit under the ceiling or you move up the ladder.
Does one Unlimited Node cover all my endpoints?
No. One Unlimited Node is one endpoint route. If you want a second endpoint unmetered, that is a second Unlimited Node. If the endpoint is a premium one, the required premium add-on is bundled into the same purchase as a second line item.
How do upgrades, downgrades and cancellation work?
The first charge is prorated for the rest of the current cycle, then the full monthly price from the next boundary. Moving down the ladder takes effect at the period boundary and the ceiling you paid for holds until then. Moving up the ladder goes through support. It recurs monthly until cancelled, and access runs to the end of the paid period.
What if I need more than 1,000 RPS?
1,000 RPS is the highest ceiling sold from this ladder. Above that, a dedicated cluster is both cheaper per unit of throughput and a better fit, so get in touch and we will size one with you.
