HydraDX Omnipool's innovative design enables single-sided liquidity provisioning, allowing users to supply only their preferred asset without fragmentation. This combats the limitations of conventional XYK AMMs, which necessitate equivalent value pairs from liquidity providers. Concentrated liquidity in the Omnipool provides users with immediate access to all other pooled assets, eliminating the need to distribute liquidity across multiple pools. Our hub token, Lerna (LRNA), facilitates single-sided provisioning. The Omnipool mints or burns LRNA according to the added or withdrawn liquidity, maintaining the pool's balance. Hence, LRNA serves as a stable reflection of the Omnipool's value, encompassing trading activity and price shifts. This could be conceptualized as each asset in the Omnipool forming a synthetic 50/50 liquidity pool with LRNA as the constant second pair.

Thanks to its innovative design, the Omnipool links all liquidity via LRNA, allowing assets within the pool direct access to the entire liquidity of any other asset in the Omnipool. This facilitates on-chain execution, permitting swaps to be completed in a single transaction without the need to jump between different trading pools. Moreover, internal research indicates that an increase in the number of tokens and the total value locked (TVL) within the Omnipool leads to a significant decrease in slippage.
