Build on Taiko
Taiko is an Ethereum-equivalent based rollup. Its JSON-RPC interface works with Ethereum libraries and tools. Dwellir provides archive access for historical state queries.
Connect to Taiko mainnet
Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your Dwellir API key. Both transports use the root path after the key.
curl -sS -X POST https://api-taiko-mainnet.n.dwellir.com/<your-api-key> \ -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \ -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"eth_blockNumber","params":[],"id":1}'Check the chain ID
curl -X POST 'https://api-taiko-mainnet.n.dwellir.com/YOUR_API_KEY' \
-H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"eth_chainId","params":[]}'The eth_chainId result is 0x28c58, or 167000 in decimal.
Subscribe to new blocks
Connect to wss://api-taiko-mainnet.n.dwellir.com/YOUR_API_KEY. Send this JSON-RPC request:
{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"eth_subscribe","params":["newHeads"]}The response contains a subscription ID. Subsequent eth_subscription messages contain new block headers.
